Request a written quote for the actual stay
Ask for current pricing for the room option and proposed stay being discussed. A daily price and a package price answer different questions, so confirm how the total is calculated and what period it covers.
You can ask: “Please show me the total for the stay we are discussing, the room type, the included services and every item that would be charged separately.” Keep that information together so you can refer back to it when deciding.

Check what the quoted fee includes
For the private medical detox service at Metamorphosis Centre for Change in Delhi, the detox fee includes:
- Medical intake
- Accommodation and meals
- Nursing care
- Physician consultations
- Detox comfort medications
The program has 24-hour nursing support and an on-call physician. Ask admissions how those services are provided and whether the quote you receive covers the whole proposed stay.
Use the same list when speaking with another provider. Ask them to describe their own inclusions in writing so that you are comparing specific services.
Separate included care from additional costs
At Metamorphosis, medications outside the detox medication plan are not included in the detox fee. Ask how your current medications would be handled and which costs you would be responsible for. Any clinical questions about medication belong with a qualified health professional.
Optional registered massage therapy and Reiki are available through third-party providers if you feel well enough. Each service has an additional fee. Ask about availability and pricing before choosing an optional service.
Also ask whether the quote includes anything needed after discharge. Do not assume a detox package includes residential treatment or another program.
Ask what happens if plans change
Before committing, ask for the provider’s terms on deposits, payment dates, cancellations and changes to the stay. Rather than assuming a particular policy, request an explanation that applies to your booking.
- Is there a minimum stay or package length?
- How are additional days charged if they are needed?
- What happens financially if admission cannot proceed?
- What are the cancellation and early-departure terms?
- Who can answer billing questions during the stay?
If you plan to use insurance or another source of funding, confirm eligibility and payment arrangements directly with that organization and the provider before relying on coverage.
Include the care arrangements in your comparison
Cost is one part of the decision. Ask who provides care overnight, how physician input is arranged, what assessment is required and whether the program can meet your needs. A clear answer about suitability matters alongside a clear price.
